I love Mimi and Jackie sooooooooooooooooo much.
Hello Venus’ live vocals. Jeez, could these girls be anymore perfect? I really want Yoonjo on stage with them!
If I’m being completely honest, I never liked T-ara. I don’t think they are talented vocally nor did they have any chemistry while performing as a group. They just produced lots of fun songs that everyone can follow to. So, seeing everything unfold and how Hwayoung (and possibly the newest member) was bullied out of the group, really doesn’t surprise me.
Although, none of the reports of bullying were confirmed, I don’t believe the bull shit CCM is stating. I don’t understand how anyone in their right minds would believe a single thing this CEO has to say. From him striking fear into his groups (by stating their positions in the group aren’t secure), wanting KARA to be blacklisted from the industry during their contract dispute, claiming their twitters were hacked then saying they did it themselves later on, the list just continues. There is just too much contradictions, inconsistency and stories for him to be taken seriously. He really expects us to believe that Hwayoung would be able to make a number of grown adults cry? She’s as intimidating as a rabbit. He even stated he wanted to “protect Hwayoung” while bashing her so that she will no longer have a future in the industry. Seriously? This guy must think the public are fucking retards if he thinks we’ll believe that shit. And only a day after the situation, CCM discusses the possibility of Hwayoung’s return. What? That was fast. What about your precious stylists, managers and artists that face such hardships because of Hwayoung, huh? It’s pretty clear he only did this because of the backlash, not for Hwayoung.
In regards to T-ara, I’m not saying this to defend them, but I sorta get why they would bully Hwayoung. Back in 2009, where the idol group boom started to grow, T-ara worked extremely hard to stand out and become one of the leading girl groups. And being at the peak of their popularity, having a new addition was so random. The original 6 members worked so hard to get to that stage in their careers, and to have a member be part of that new popularity, who really didn’t do anything to help them reach that point, would be extremely frustrating. I would be pissed off too. But that’s not to say, that this behaviour should happen, considering it wasn’t even Hwayoung’s decision to be a part of that group, it was CCM’s. Hwayoung had no control of the situation and probably was so vulnerable being the new member because she HAD to prove she had a right to be in this group. But to physically and verbally hurt your fellow member, all because of the actions of the agency? The future for this group gets darker by the hour.
Everyone seems to be putting all the blame on CCM. But if you look at the situation inside and out, you’ll see that, both CCM and T-ara are to blame. CCM started this, but in the end, T-ara had final control of the situation. They chose to hold a grudge, they chose to shun Hwayoung. And poor Hwayoung doesn’t even get a chance to speak about the situation.
So here’s my verdict: Hwayoung, please don’t go back to that group because you have more dignity than that. I never cared for T-ara, but I’m so angry for this girl. As for T-ara and CCM, they basically just screwed themselves over. The next articles I wanna read about them are: “T-ara disbands” and “CCM files bankruptcy”. And I’m honestly so scared for Hwayoung’s sister, Hyoyoung. Because the backlash that CCM gets might make the company turn against her too.
